Job Summary:



We are looking for an experienced and dynamic

AVP - Projects

to lead major

railway renovation projects

based in

Kozhikode

. The candidate should have a deep understanding of railway infrastructure development and must have successfully completed large-scale projects valued at ?300 crore or above. This senior-level role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including PMC authorities and Indian Railways.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Leadership and Management



Lead end-to-end execution of railway renovation projects including planning, implementation, monitoring, and final delivery.

Ensure adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary constraints.

2. Team Management



Supervise multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.

Foster collaboration and accountability within the project team to drive performance.

3. Stakeholder Communication



Liaise regularly with senior management, clients, and external consultants to provide project updates.

Engage with PMC authorities and government officials to ensure alignment and approvals.

4. Budget and Resource Management



Prepare, manage, and control project budgets effectively.

Optimize use of available manpower, equipment, and material resources.

5. Risk Management and Safety



Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement timely mitigation strategies.

Ensure that all safety protocols and environmental standards are strictly followed.

6. Quality Assurance



Ensure compliance with Indian Railways' technical specifications and codal provisions.

Monitor construction quality and implement corrective measures where necessary.

7. Regulatory Compliance



Ensure adherence to all applicable legal, environmental, and railway-specific regulatory frameworks.

8. Technical Expertise



Provide engineering insights and resolve technical issues to facilitate smooth project delivery.

Guide the team in solving on-site challenges and complex engineering problems.

9. Labour Force Management



Maintain access to a diverse range of labour gangs and ensure availability of manpower as per project demands.

Qualifications and Skills:



Education:



o Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)

o Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:



o 20-30 years in infrastructure project execution

o Minimum 3 years in railway renovation projects valued over ?300 crore

Technical Skills:



o In-depth knowledge of railway construction processes, specifications, and Indian Railways' codal procedures

o Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies

Soft Skills:



o Leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

o Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus
