ASSISTANT TECHNICIAN - MOTOR / ALTERNATOR (AC & DC, LV & HV)

Salary: Basic RO 80 - 85 p.m. + Adhoc Allowance 10% of basic

The Assistant Technician will support technicians in dismantling, cleaning, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of AC & DC motors and alternators (Low Voltage and High Voltage) at the workshop and customer sites. This entry-level role is focused on providing hands-on assistance, learning technical processes, and ensuring safe and efficient execution of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

o

Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and preparation of motors and alternators for inspection and repair.

o

Support technicians in inspection activities by handling tools, preparing components, and recording readings.

o

Help in documenting measurements and observations under guidance.

o

Carry out basic troubleshooting assistance as instructed by technicians.

o

Support in preparation of machines for solo-run and load testing.

o

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools.

o

Always follow safety procedures during workshop and site work.

o

Provide general assistance to the technical team to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

o

ITI / Trade Certificate or High School with technical background preferred.

o

1-2 years of experience in a workshop or mechanical/electrical maintenance environment (fresh candidates with aptitude may be considered).

o

Basic knowledge of electrical rotating equipment (motors, alternators) is an advantage.

o

Willingness to learn and grow into a technician role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,365.47 - ₹19,513.31 per month
