About CS Academy



CS Academy, Coimbatore has three campuses. Two are in Kovaipudur (Main) in adjacent facilities and the third primary campus is in the heart of the city at Red Fields.

Purpose of RoleCurriculum Delivery: Implementing and delivering a comprehensive Kindergarten curriculum that meets educational standards and fosters students' understanding of English. Student Engagement: Creating engaging and interactive lesson plans to encourage active participation among students. Differentiated Instruction: Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring all learners can succeed. Assessment and Feedback: Assessing students' progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and using assessment data to inform instruction. Foundational Skills Development: Helping students build essential skills and concepts that serve as the foundation for future learning and problem-solving. Classroom Management: Establishing and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment conducive to learning and collaboration. Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning and development. Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional growth to stay informed about best practices in education and integrating new teaching strategies.




Key Responsibilities



Developing lesson plans and curriculum that focus on storytelling techniques and skills.

Teaching students how to structure a story, create engaging characters, and build suspense. Incorporating various storytelling techniques, such as voice modulation, body language, and the use of props. Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their storytelling abilities. Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed to meet individual learning needs. Organizing storytelling events or performances to showcase students' work and build confidence. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development and growth as storytellers.



Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Skills:

1. Ability to handle Kindergarten Students.

2. Strong storytelling abilities and a passion for storytelling.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and connect with students.

4. Creativity and the ability to develop innovative and engaging lesson plans.

5. Patience and empathy to support students in their learning journey.

6. Adaptability to adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

7. Organizational skills to plan and manage storytelling events or performances.

8. Collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.



Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in education, English, communication, or a related field.

2. Teaching certification or licensure, depending on the requirements of the educational institution.

3. Additional certifications or training in storytelling, drama, or related fields may be beneficial.



Experience:

1. Prior experience teaching storytelling, English, drama, or related subjects.

2. Experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds.

3. Participation in storytelling events, performances, or workshops.

4. Demonstrated success in fostering creativity and self-expression in students.
