Key Responsibilities
Support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering daily lessons and classroom activities.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support.
Help manage student behavior using positive guidance strategies.
Prepare instructional materials, supplies, and classroom resources as needed.
Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and lunch.
Foster an inclusive, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
Communicate effectively and professionally with staff, students, and families.
Support school policies, procedures, and curriculum goals.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
Previous experience working with children (school, childcare, tutoring, or related experience).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and school staff.
Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new educational tools.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
Classroom management support experience.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
