Purpose of the Job

Responsible for supporting the Tax Manager in managing the organization's tax compliance and planning activities. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.

GST Compliances:

Supervising the preparation of GST returns for multi registrations. Ensure timeliness and correctness in monthly GST payments and periodic GST returns. Review of the mechanism for availing of Input Tax Credit and building necessary checks to ensure correct credit is availed. Filing of GST refund applications Provide inputs on automation of GST compliances. Owning the GST GLs and ensuring the GL represents true and fair value. Facilitation and providing necessary data points required for Statutory and Internal Audits

GST Notices:

Drafting the replies to the notices such as ASMT-10 and DRC-01 with the help of the team and consultants. Preparation and submission of relevant data, reconciliations, and information as required by consultants and GST department. GST Advisory Analysis of the changes in laws, regulations, accounting principles, judicial pronouncements and interpret its implications from GST perspective. Periodic meeting with teams to resolve the key GST issues.

System Knowledge:

Excellent excel skills. Experience in SAP is preferred. Job Requirements - Experience and Education
