The Assistant System Engineer supports the school's IT infrastructure by assisting in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems, networks, and devices. This role ensures seamless operation of digital learning tools, administrative software, and overall technological support for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of school IT systems (computers, smartboards, projectors, servers, and networking equipment). Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Support the school's ERP, LMS, and digital learning platforms. Manage user accounts, email setups, and access controls under supervision. Assist with system backups, data security, and regular software updates. Troubleshoot issues with printers, scanners, smartboards, and other peripherals. Support multimedia setups for events, meetings, and presentations. Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and report repair/replacement needs. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized technical support when required. Document IT procedures, support logs, and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Basic knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and system administration. Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, cloud platforms, and MS Office/Google Workspace. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Good communication skills to assist staff and students effectively. Ability to work under supervision and learn advanced system management.

Experience

0-2 years of IT support or system administration experience (educational sector preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
