Role Overview



The

Store Keeper

manages the entire material flow -- from receipt to issue and inventory tracking -- at Infra Green's fabrication unit and project sites.
This role is critical for ensuring that steel, hardware, and consumables are handled accurately, documented properly, and available when needed for production and erection activities.

Key Responsibilities



Receive and inspect incoming materials as per delivery challan and purchase order. Maintain daily records of material inward, outward, and return entries. Issue materials to production and site teams based on approved indent slips. Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of steel, fasteners, and tools. Monitor consumables (welding rods, gas, paint, bolts etc.) and raise requisition on time. Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock verifications with ERP entries. Coordinate with Purchase and Accounts for GRN, invoice verification, and vendor returns. Maintain minimum stock levels and prepare material consumption reports. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and fire precautions inside the store area. Support dispatch team in packing and loading as per project schedule.

Skills & Capabilities



Strong knowledge of

store management, inventory control, and material tracking

. Ability to identify PEB materials (columns, rafters, purlins, bolts, paint etc.). Good coordination with Production, Purchase, and Site teams. Computer literacy in

Excel / Google Sheets / ERP (Zoho, Tally or similar)

. Discipline, accuracy, and accountability in record-keeping.

Capacity



Manage stock for

3 - 8 live projects

and a factory store simultaneously. Maintain

100 % reconciliation between physical and ERP stock

monthly.

Eligibility



Diploma / ITI / Graduate

in any discipline (preferably Mechanical or Industrial background).

2 - 6 years

experience in store or inventory management for

PEB / Fabrication / Construction industry

. Forklift or material handling knowledge is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits



Salary:

?20,000 - ?25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience). Overtime allowance + performance bonus. Accommodation available for outstation staff. Career growth path to
