The Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Trust was established in 1987 with the primary goal of providing charitable healthcare services to the poor and underserved communities. The Trust currently operates several clinics and hospitals, serving over 200,000 patients each year. In addition to healthcare, the Trust engages in various community development projects focused on education, livelihood, self-help groups, and water supply, among others.

Currently, we are looking for a Store In charge (Asst. Manager Store) for our central store located at our Palghar centre to join the team.

Role Purpose



The Store In charge (Asst. Manager Store) will oversee strict Inventory control along with ensuring the fulfilment of the user departmental needs for the hospital, institute and trust stakeholders. It requires the skillsets in procurement and purchase process for the hospital equipment and supplies with the other stationary requirements, including local purchases, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission and sponsor expectations. This role focuses on ensuring judicious use of inventory.

Key Responsibilities



o

Inventory & Stock Management



Monitoring stock levels and raising Purchase Orders on time.

Physically verifying incoming goods against Purchase Orders (PO)

Analysing past data to predict future needs

Organizing the physical layout

Ensuring specific injections/Kits are stored at the required temperature

Eliminated expired or damaged items in compliance with hospital waste management policies

Stock auditing on a monthly basis

Departmental Distribution



Issuing materials based on requests received from the department

Timely distribution of the items to the department in cases of emergency

Identifying the scope of improvement and applying strategies in department distribution.

Analyse the consumption pattern, and distribute according to the pattern

Documentation and Reporting



Preparing the purchase order and sending it to the vendor

Maintain and record the inward and assets register

Checking the invoice against the item received, cross-verifying the rates, communicating with the supplier if required

Generate weekly and monthly purchase and consumption reports to facilitate analysis

Reporting critical issues to the manager

Purchase and Vendor Management



Taking a quotation from the vendor and sharing it with the manager

Follow up with the vendor for further negotiation and requirements

Identifying the vendors for cost-effective purchase

Maintain and Managing relation with vendors

Developing strategies for cost-effective purchase

Desired Attributes



Integrity and honesty Store Management experience of a minimum of 2 years, preferably in a hospital setup Detail-oriented with strong execution focus. Excellent communication, organisational, and reporting skills. Ability to use Office tools
