The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and managing staff. The role ensures that Planet Fashion brand standards are maintained while achieving business targets and providing a premium shopping experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations

Assist in managing day-to-day store operations Ensure compliance with Planet Fashion policies and brand guidelines Maintain visual merchandising standards as per company norms Handle opening and closing procedures of the store Monitor inventory levels and support stock management
Sales & Customer Service

Drive sales to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally Promote ongoing offers, schemes, and loyalty programs
Team Management

Support recruitment, training, and development of store staff Supervise, motivate, and guide sales associates Prepare staff duty rosters and ensure adequate floor coverage Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Inventory & Cash Handling

Assist in stock receiving, replenishment, and stock audits Reduce stock loss through proper control and vigilance Support billing, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation Ensure accuracy in store documentation and reports
Reporting & Compliance

Prepare daily sales and operational reports Ensure adherence to safety, security, and hygiene standards Coordinate with franchise management and brand representatives
Qualifications & Requirements

Graduate or equivalent qualification 1-4 years of experience in retail apparel/fashion, preferably in a branded store Prior experience as Senior Sales Executive or Supervisor is an advantage Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Good communication skills Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, MS Excel) Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of fashion trends and merchandising Customer-focused attitude Problem-solving and decision-making ability Team management and sales planning skills
