A Store Officer manages daily store operations, focusing on precise inventory control, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking stock, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and using inventory software, coordinating with procurement/production, maintaining safety & organization, managing staff, and generating essential reports for management. Key duties involve stock replenishment, implementing FIFO, liaising with suppliers, handling documentation (MRRs, requisitions), and ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards. Core Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Oversee all stock movements: receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch. Maintain accurate digital and physical records using software and manual checks. Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconcile discrepancies. Implement stock rotation (FIFO) and manage surplus/expired items.

Operations & Logistics:

Receive, inspect, and shelve incoming deliveries, checking for damage/discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all materials. Manage documentation for orders, receipts, and issues (e.g., Material Received Reports).

Staff & Compliance:

Supervise and train store staff. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and hygiene standards (HSE). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generate reports on stock levels, transactions, and operational performance. Provide data for reordering and demand forecasting. Analyze inventory trends and suggest improvements.
