Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the retail store, including operations, sales, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. This role ensures the store meets performance goals while delivering a luxury retail experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Experience

Drive sales targets and assist in implementing promotional strategies. Ensure an exceptional customer experience and resolve escalated customer issues promptly. Maintain deep knowledge of all products and share insights with customers and staff.

Team Management

Supervise and motivate store staff, providing on-the-floor training and feedback. Assist in creating staff schedules, delegating duties, and ensuring performance standards. Foster a high-energy, professional store environment.

Store Operations

Ensure the store is visually appealing, clean, and well-stocked. Manage inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishment. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and SOPs.

Reporting & Coordination

Track sales data and report performance to the Store Manager. Help in planning and executing in-store events or promotions. Liaise with the support office on operational or HR-related matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree preferred; diploma in retail management or related field is a plus. 2-5 years of experience in retail (luxury chocolate or gourmet food industry preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Passion for customer service and team development. Proficient with POS systems, basic MS Excel, and retail KPIs.

Working Conditions:

6-day work week (rotational off) Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays Full-day store shifts (as per business hours)
