Assistant Store Manager (Ethnic Wear Couture)1. Sales & Revenue Performance
Achieve and support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Drive high-value sales through effective customer engagement and styling advice
Increase Average Transaction Value (ATV) and Units Per Bill (UPB)
Support store-level promotions, trunk shows, and festive launches
Ensure conversion rate improvement through personalized selling
2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Deliver luxury-level customer service aligned with couture brand standards
Build long-term relationships with HNI / repeat clients
Handle customer queries, alterations coordination, and complaint resolution professionally
Maintain CRM records and follow up with customers for previews, fittings, and repeat visits
Ensure high customer satisfaction and positive feedback
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
Maintain store aesthetics as per brand VM guidelines
Ensure proper display of ethnic couture wear (lehenga, saree, anarkali, sherwani, etc.)
Coordinate seasonal VM changes and festive decor
Ensure fitting rooms, mannequins, and accessories are well maintained
4. Inventory & Stock Management
Monitor stock availability and ensure optimal replenishment
Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular stock audits
Ensure proper handling, storage, and tagging of couture garments
Minimize stock loss, damage, and shrinkage
Coordinate with the Store Manager for stock planning and transfers
5. Team Management & Training
Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, and daily task allocation
Train sales associates on product knowledge, fabrics, craftsmanship, and styling
Motivate team to achieve targets and maintain grooming standards
Support onboarding of new team members
Act as Store Manager in their absence
6. Operations & Compliance
Ensure smooth daily store operations (opening/closing, billing, cash handling)
Follow SOPs, POS procedures, and audit requirements
Ensure compliance with company policies and security guidelines
Coordinate with tailors, logistics, and backend teams
7. Brand Representation & Market Awareness
Represent the brand ethos, heritage, and craftsmanship to customers
Stay updated on ethnic fashion trends, bridal couture, and competitor activities
Support influencer visits, designer showcases, and VIP appointments
8. Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Track KPIs such as sales, conversion, ATV, repeat customers
Share feedback and insights with Store Manager / Head Office
