Job Description

An Assistant Site Engineer in a commercial kitchen manufacturing company assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment on-site. Their responsibilities include quality control, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. Key Responsibilities:

Installation Support:

Assist with the installation of commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring it meets technical specifications and industry standards.

Quality Control:

Inspect equipment for defects and ensure it meets quality standards before and after installation, collaborating with the site team on quality assurance.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, following diagnostic procedures and referring to technical manuals.

Preventative Maintenance:

Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety regulations, ensure proper handling of equipment, and report any safety concerns to the site manager.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs, creating detailed reports as needed.

Client Communication:

Interact with clients to explain equipment operations and address their concerns.

Technical Assistance:

Provide technical support to the construction team, answering questions and offering guidance.
