Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Showroom Manager to support the daily operations and sales activities of our Damro showroom in Gachibowli. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in furniture retail, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for interior design. You will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring showroom excellence, and leading the team to achieve and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Service:
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide expert advice on furniture selection, styling, and space planning.
Guide customers through the entire sales process, from product demonstration to closing the sale and arranging delivery.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively to ensure complete satisfaction.
2. Showroom Management:
Assist the Showroom Manager in the day-to-day operational running of the showroom.
Ensure the showroom is impeccably maintained, clean, and visually merchandised to the highest standards.
Monitor inventory levels on the showroom floor and coordinate with the warehouse for restocking.
Implement and uphold all company policies and procedures.
3. Team Leadership & Training:
Supervise, mentor, and motivate the showroom sales team in the absence of the Manager.
Assist in training new team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team environment.
4. Administration:
Prepare daily sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in billing.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of
2 to 4 years
of relevant experience in
furniture retail sales or showroom management
is
mandatory
.
