The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for
individual sales targets
, managing the
complete sales cycle
from lead generation to post-sales coordination for room bookings, packages, and corporate business. The role requires strong market presence, relationship management, and revenue growth in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve
individual monthly and quarterly sales targets
as assigned by the company.
Generate new business leads through corporate visits, TA visits, networking, and market mapping.
Handle
end-to-end sales operations
including lead generation, rate negotiation, closure, and post-sales follow-up.
Promote and sell
hotel rooms, corporate packages, long-stay packages, and group bookings
.
Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and channel partners to drive repeat business.
Coordinate with reservations, operations, and revenue teams to ensure smooth booking execution and guest satisfaction.
Prepare and submit
daily sales reports (DSR)
, pipeline updates, and market intelligence.
Identify new market segments and business opportunities aligned with company growth plans.
Support senior management in implementing sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Attend trade fairs, sales events, and networking activities as required.
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in
hospitality sales
, preferably handling individual targets.
Proven track record in
room sales, package sales, and corporate account handling
.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel for market visits and client meetings.
Proficient in MS Excel, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Skills
Existing network of corporate clients, travel agents, or OTA partners.
Knowledge of local hospitality market trends and competitor analysis.
Strong follow-up and closing skills.
Multilingual communication skills are an added advantage.
