Job Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager - Furniture is responsible for supporting sales operations, achieving revenue targets, leading the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer experience in the furniture showroom.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets Supervise and guide sales executives on the floor Handle customer walk-ins, understand requirements, and close high-value sales Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and pricing Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for timely delivery Monitor daily sales reports, conversions, and follow-ups Support training and performance monitoring of sales staff Ensure adherence to company policies and showroom SOPs

Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred) 4-7 years of experience in furniture retail sales Strong knowledge of furniture products, materials, and customization Good leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/POS systems

Preferred Experience

Experience in modular furniture, home furniture, or premium furniture retail Exposure to large showrooms or multi-brand furniture stores

Working Conditions

Full-time showroom role Weekly off as per retail norms Weekend and festival working required
