About the Role:
We're looking for a goal-oriented
Assistant Sales Manager
to support and scale our business in the chemical industry. This role requires strong sales acumen, client handling experience, and the ability to assist in developing market strategies and leading junior sales staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Sales Head in achieving sales targets and managing client accounts
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
Manage existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Support marketing initiatives and coordinate product promotions
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, R&D, logistics) for seamless delivery
Analyze market trends, competitor activities & prepare regular sales reports
Visit client locations for business development and support
Guide and mentor junior team members
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in chemical/pharma sales (API, excipients, specialty chemicals)
Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills
Comfortable with client meetings, travel & target-driven work
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Team player with leadership potential
