The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales executives or design consultants, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the home decor and interior solutions segment. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing client relationships, and promoting the company's products such as modular furniture, wardrobes, kitchen solutions, and decorative fittings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned stores, regions, or product lines.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, B2B, and project segments.
Conduct regular follow-ups with leads, interior designers, architects, and dealers to generate business.
Support the execution of promotional activities, exhibitions, and product launches.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, designers, and channel partners.
Ensure excellent customer experience from inquiry to final delivery.
Handle escalations and resolve customer concerns promptly.
3. Team Management
Guide and support sales executives/design consultants in achieving individual targets.
Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
Monitor daily sales performance and ensure adherence to company policies.
4. Sales Operations & Reporting
Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and share insights with management.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback for strategic planning.
5. Product Knowledge & Brand Representation
Maintain in-depth knowledge of product features, materials, pricing, and design options.
Ensure proper product display and branding in showrooms.
Educate clients on product benefits, customization options, and design compatibility.
