Assistant Sales Manager - HVAC

Job Summary



The Assistant Sales Manager will support regional sales operations, manage key customer accounts, generate new business, and ensure revenue targets for the Ahmedabad territory. The role requires strong technical understanding of HVAC products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development



Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Ahmedabad region for HVAC products (chillers, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, etc.). Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. Conduct site visits, surveys, client meetings, and product presentations. Prepare and follow up on project quotations, tenders, and proposals. Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales deals.

Client & Channel Partner Management



Maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, builders, and end customers. Coordinate with dealers, distributors, and channel partners for sales growth. Provide product training and support to channel partners.

Project Coordination



Coordinate with technical, design, and service teams for project execution. Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery and installation. Address customer queries and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Market Intelligence



Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends in the HVAC sector. Provide regular MIS reports, forecasts, and funnel updates to management.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer communications. Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Education



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). MBA in Sales/Marketing (added advantage).

Experience



2-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, project sales, or related technical sales. Strong network with consultants, contractors, and builders in Ahmedabad.

Skills



Good understanding of HVAC systems and design principles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
