Job Summary

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in achieving branch sales targets, managing the sales team, ensuring excellent customer experience, and driving revenue growth. This role involves team coordination, customer relationship management, sales planning, and process compliance as per Toyota standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sales Manager in planning and achieving monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.

Support and guide sales executives in lead generation, follow-ups, and deal closures.

Monitor daily sales activities, test drives, bookings, and retail deliveries.

Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and adherence to Toyota sales processes.

Handle customer escalations and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Analyze sales performance reports and suggest corrective actions where required.

Coordinate with finance, insurance, and accessories teams to maximize revenue per vehicle.

Support local marketing activities, showroom events, and promotional campaigns.

Ensure proper maintenance of showroom displays, demo vehicles, and sales documentation.

Train, motivate, and coach sales team members to improve productivity and skills.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Graduate / MBA (Marketing or Sales preferred).

3-6 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of passenger car sales processes and customer handling.

Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic sales reporting tools.

Valid driving license is mandatory.

Working Conditions
