Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up
Supervise cash handling and banking procedures
Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports
Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures
Deal with irregular payments
Supervise the maintenance of service equipment
Monitor standards of guest facilities and services
Control stock and monitor security procedures
Menu and wine list creation
Supervise functions
Supervise outlet service
Works on manpower planning and management needs
Works in the preparation and management of the Department's budget
It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
Strength - with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
You'll might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
Flexible attitude to shifts - you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
