Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor in-process and final quality checks for HDPE/PP drums, pails, and containers Ensure compliance with customer specs (IOCL/BPCL/HPCL-type standards), IS/UN norms Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished goods inspections Handle customer complaints, CAPA, and root cause analysis Maintain QA documentation, SOPs, and inspection records Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams Assist in audits (internal, customer, ISO) and corrective actions Control rejection, rework, and wastage levels

Skills & Knowledge:

Knowledge of rigid packaging processes (extrusion, blow molding, welding) Familiar with leak testing, drop tests, visual & dimensional checks Understanding of ISO 9001, UN packaging norms, and safety standards Basic data analysis, report preparation, and documentation control

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.Tech in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical, or Production Engineering 3-7 years experience in rigid plastic packaging or FMCG/industrial packaging
