To develop a written vision statement that clearly outlines the hospitals quality improvement goals and strategies.
To maintain a computerized hospital information system which facilitates review of performance related statistics.
To identify unacceptable level of performance so as to focus on areas of improvement.
To create an organizational culture with devolution of powers and employee empowerment (so that the responsibility of problem identification, analysis and resolution is transferred as far down the organizational hierarchy as possible)
Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports.
Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
Providing departments with quality planning and support.
Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.
Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.
To focus on continuous quality improvement throughout the organisation, through constant effort to result in quality improvement.
Responsible for training of employees.
Coordinate NABH and other accreditation processes.
Coordinate the inspections of DNB, NABH and ISO.
To use structured problem solving processes incorporating statistical methods and measurements to diagnose problems and monitor progress.
To use of teams including employees from multiple departments from different organizational levels for introducing improvements in organizational processes.
To empower employees to identify quality problems and improvement opportunities and to take action on these problems and opportunities.
To co-ordinate with all Head of Departments and Incharges in effective implementation and monitoring of NABH policies.
