Assistant Quality Engineer

Position: Assistant Quality Engineer

Location: Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)

Requisites:

1-2 years of experience in the

Quality Department

of an

automotive manufacturing company

. Exposure to

lighting product inspection and testing

is an added advantage. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of

IATF 16949

standards and audit processes. Familiar with

automotive quality systems and tools

(e.g., 5 Why, 8D, CAPA, etc.). Understanding of

inward quality inspection procedures

. Good communication and report writing skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities:

Assist in

IATF 16949

,

Customer

, and

Supplier Audits

. Prepare and maintain audit-related

documentation

and quality records. Support in

customer complaint handling

, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Monitor and maintain the

Inward Quality Inspection Process

. Coordinate with the production team to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain and update QMS documentation as per IATF standards. Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues. Assist in internal process audits and quality improvements.
