The Quantity Surveyor Assistant will support the QS / Estimation team in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and documentation related to interior, civil, and fit-out projects. The role involves coordination with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
Support in
quantity take-off
for materials, joinery, and civil/interior works.
Prepare
rate analysis
, cost comparison sheets, and vendor evaluation summaries.
Collect and verify
quotations
from suppliers/subcontractors for cost benchmarking.
Help in drafting
work orders
,
purchase requests
, and
cost tracking reports
.
Maintain and update project cost records and variations.
Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams for clarification of drawings and quantities.
Support preparation of
interim payment certificates
and
final account statements
.
Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and project requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
,
Quantity Surveying
, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in estimation or quantity surveying (freshers may also apply).
Knowledge of
AutoCAD
,
MS Excel
, and
BOQ preparation
.
Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
Basic understanding of
interior fit-out materials
and
construction methods
.
Good communication and teamwork ability.
Preferred:
Experience in interior or turnkey fit-out projects.
