Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Purchase Manager to support end-to-end procurement of raw and packaging materials, especially in the agri-products category. The role involves ensuring timely availability of quality materials, building vendor relationships, and optimizing costs in line with production and business requirements.

Responsibilities:



Plan and execute procurement based on production forecasts. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers. Manage purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries. Coordinate with QC for quality checks and compliance. Monitor inventory levels and support GRN process. Maintain records, reports, and contracts. Track agri-market price trends for cost planning. Collaborate with production, finance, and stores.

Skills Required:



Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Agri Business, or Commerce (PG/Diploma preferred). 3-4 years' procurement experience in agri-products/FMCG. Knowledge of sourcing, grading standards, pricing, and logistics. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ethical, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive.
