Role: Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager at MiCasa Hostels plays a crucial role in

supporting property operations, guest satisfaction, and team coordination

. This role acts as the second-in-command to the Property Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily hostel operations in coordination with the Property Manager. Supervise front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff. Ensure smooth check-in/check-out process and handle guest concerns. Manage property records, documentation, and compliance requirements. Monitor inventory, place orders for supplies, and track usage. Handle cash transactions, verify invoices, and assist in financial reporting. Support hostel events, activities, and community engagement initiatives. Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. Step in as acting Property Manager during their absence.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

1-2 years of experience

in hospitality, hotel/hostel management, or property supervision. Graduate in

Hospitality Management

or related field preferred. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to handle cash, prepare reports, and manage vendor relations. Excellent communication in

English, Tamil, and Hindi

(other languages are a plus). A passion for travel, youth culture, and community living. Flexible, proactive, and capable of managing a multicultural guest environment.
