The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing interior fit-out projects. The role involves coordinating site activities, managing vendors and manpower, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects on time within budget while maintaining D'LIFE quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Coordination
Assist in day-to-day site operations for residential/commercial interior projects
Coordinate with designers, vendors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones
Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews
Quality & Compliance
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
Maintain D'LIFE quality, safety, and workmanship standards
Identify issues at site and escalate to Project Manager when required
Material & Vendor Management
Track material requirements and coordinate timely delivery to site
Verify material quality and quantities at site
Support vendor billing verification and work completion tracking
Client Coordination
Assist in client meetings and site walkthroughs
Address client queries and ensure smooth communication
Support snag list preparation and closure before handover
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site records, daily progress reports (DPR), and checklists
Update project status reports and share with Project Manager/Management
Assist in handover documentation and completion reports
Desired Candidate Profile
BE / BTech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field
1-4 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects
Basic knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry, MEP, and finishes
Ability to read drawings and understand site measurements
Good coordination and communication skills
