Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support project management activities across various projects, ensuring that objectives are met within the specified timelines and budgets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and drive project success.

Duties

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from inception to completion. Utilise Jira for tracking project progress and managing tasks effectively. Conduct requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives. Implement content management systems to streamline project documentation and communication. Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to ensure budget adherence. Lead project meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise. Perform root cause analysis on project challenges to identify solutions and improve processes. Maintain organised project documentation, ensuring all stakeholders have access to relevant information. Collaborate with product development teams to align project goals with organisational objectives. Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in Jira or similar project management tools. Experience in product development processes. Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Familiarity with content management systems. Knowledge of cost control practices within a project environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding teams towards achieving project goals. Excellent organisational skills, ensuring all aspects of the project are well-coordinated. Experience in requirements gathering techniques to capture stakeholder needs effectively. Familiarity with Workday or similar HR management systems is advantageous.
