Purpose of the role:
The
Assistant Project Manager
supports the Central Project Management Team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring pre-construction activities
across regional locations
. The role is critical in identifying, tracking, and resolving pre-construction delays to ensure project milestones are achieved without compromising timelines or documentation quality.
This position works closely with the Central Operations Team, PMO, Procurement, Project Managers, Design Team, and suppliers to secure seamless long-lead deliveries and maintain effective cross-functional communication. Success in this role requires strong management capabilities, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while upholding scheduled timelines and strong project documentation standards.
What you'll do:
Adhering to the implementation framework and ensuring efficient project management for corporate interior fit-out projects.
Ensuring on-time delivery of all long-lead materials in alignment with Purchase Orders and project delivery timelines.
Facilitating the release of advances or pre-delivery payments to supply vendors in coordination with internal teams.
Overseeing and tracking the Tender Event Schedule, monitoring planned vs. actual progress.
Supporting the Central Project Management Team by coordinating and promoting collaboration among all project-linked functions.
Maintaining and updating central trackers in accordance with established guidelines and reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For:
A project management professional with
minimum 3 years of experience
in corporate fit-out projects.
A diploma or degree in project management, construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the various trades, vendors, and subcontractors involved in corporate interior fit-outs.
Tech-savvy, with proven experience adopting digital tools, project management platforms, and technology-driven workflows.
Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments while consistently delivering high-quality results and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Able to work well under pressure, operate independently, and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
