Project Manager

to lead complex creative projects from concept to completion.

Role Overview



The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of bespoke lighting installations and design projects. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams including designers, artisans, vendors, and clients. The ideal candidate understands both creative processes and production realities.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Coordination



Develop detailed project plans, timelines, schedules, and resource allocations. Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project alignment. Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Management



Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Present design proposals, technical details, and progress updates. Ensure client expectations are understood, managed, and met.

Execution & Quality Control



Oversee fabrication processes, material procurement, and vendor coordination. Conduct on-site supervision during installation and ensure adherence to design specifications. Monitor quality, craftsmanship, and finishing standards.

Budget & Documentation



Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency. Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports. Approve invoices and manage financial tracking with internal teams.

Team Collaboration



Work closely with designers, artisans, production managers, and engineers. Facilitate internal reviews, workflow meetings, and status updates. Ensure seamless handoff across project phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in project management within design, luxury interiors, architecture, art installations, or high-end production. Strong understanding of design drawings, technical specifications, and fabrication processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Willingness to travel to sites for coordination and supervision.

Preferred Attributes



Experience with bespoke lighting or custom fabrication projects. Understanding of materials such as glass, metal, ceramics, and mixed media. Passion for art, design, and craftsmanship. Creative problem-solving mindset.
