Role Overview



We are seeking a highly motivated

Assistant Project Manager (APM)

with strong experience in

heavy civil construction projects

. The APM will support the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of construction projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, safety standards, and client expectations are met. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills with proven experience in

RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), submittals, change orders, contracts, and client management

.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in managing the

end-to-end lifecycle of heavy civil construction projects

(earthworks, utilities, drainage, infrastructure). Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare, track, and manage

RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, submittals, change orders, and contracts

. Support in scheduling, budget tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for senior management and clients. Collaborate with site engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Facilitate issue resolution and escalate project risks as needed.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree

in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required).

Master's degree in Construction Management

(preferred). 3-8 years of experience in

construction project management

, with emphasis on

heavy civil projects

. Strong knowledge of

RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and client management

. Proven

US project management experience

(mandatory). Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
