Assistant Project Lead - Project Management Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a strong background in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project coordination for design, particularly in green field projects. This role requires excellent coordination skills between architects, clients, consultants, and internal teams, as well as the ability to prepare high-level management reports and project documents.



Key Responsibilities:



1. Lead architectural design projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client requirements and industry standards.

2. Coordinate project design activities, facilitating seamless communication between architects, clients, and consultants.

3. Act as the primary liaison between the design team and site team, ensuring alignment and resolving any discrepancies and site issues.

4. Prepare comprehensive reports for higher management, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.

5. Develop and manage project documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

6. Oversee the preparation and review of design documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

8. Manage client relationships, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining clear communication channels.

9. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards, particularly for green field projects.

10. Lead and participate in project meetings, facilitating effective decision-making and problem-solving.

11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and project management.



Required Qualifications:



1. Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.

2. 8-10 years of professional experience in architecture with a strong focus on project management and coordination.

3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex building projects, particularly green field projects, from concept to completion.

4. Extensive experience in project coordination for design, including managing relationships between architects, clients, and consultants.

5. Strong skills in preparing management reports and project documents.

6. Excellent knowledge of architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

7. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

8. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, and materials.

9. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

10. Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively between design and site teams
