Role Overview

We are seeking a highly proactive and organized Assistant Program Manager to support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of InUnity's innovation and incubation programs. Working closely with the Program Manager, this role ensures smooth operations, stakeholder engagement, student enablement, and high-quality program outcomes.

The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about innovation, ecosystem building, and working directly with students and MSMEs to drive real impact.

About the Program

The Idea to MVP Program connects engineering institutions, students, and MSMEs across Nagpur to solve real-world business challenges using design thinking, rapid prototyping, and structured mentorship. The Assistant Program Manager will support operations, outreach, partner coordination, progress tracking, and Demo Day execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outreach & Engagement Support

? Assist in conducting outreach campaigns across colleges, universities, and student communities.

? Support awareness sessions, presentations, and program promotions.

? Maintain coordination with faculty, student bodies, and institutional partners.

Expected Outcome: Consistent student engagement and strong participation across institutions.

2. MSME & Industry Coordination

? Support the Program Manager in identifying and coordinating with MSME partners.

? Assist with collecting problem statements and maintaining engagement during the cohort.

Expected Outcome: Smooth communication and timely sourcing of industry challenges.

3. Program Operations & Execution

? Assist in managing cohort activities such as idea submissions, workshops, sprints, POC development, and MVP reviews.

? Handle program logistics including scheduling, venue arrangements, materials, and communication.

? Ensure teams follow timelines and are aligned with program goals.

Expected Outcome: Well-coordinated execution and timely completion of all program phases.

4. Team & Mentor Enablement

? Support student teams with guidance, check-ins, and resource coordination.

? Assist in scheduling mentor interactions and providing required support.

Expected Outcome: Student teams stay active, informed, and productive across stages.

5. Documentation, Tracking & Reporting

? Maintain trackers for student teams, MSMEs, mentor sessions, and progress milestones.

? Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports for leadership and partners.

? Document workshop outputs, attendance, and cohort data.

Expected Outcome: Accurate, updated documentation and clear visibility into program performance.

6. Ecosystem & Partner Management Support

? Assist in building connections with mentors, incubators, industry experts, and ecosystem partners.

? Support coordination for Demo Day and incubation handovers.

Expected Outcome: Strong partner engagement and successful program closure activities.

7. Program Growth & Improvement

? Contribute ideas for improving program design, engagement strategies, and operational effi ciency.

? Support eff orts related to fundraising, sponsorships, or grant documentation when required.

Expected Outcome: Continuous enhancement of program quality and scalability.

Qualifi cation

? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, or related fi elds.

? 0-2 years of experience in program coordination, incubation support, or community engagement (freshers with strong interest may apply).

? Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

? Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.

? Enthusiasm for innovation, student engagement, and startup ecosystem development.

? Basic understanding of design thinking, prototyping, or startup processes is a plus.

? Experience in event coordination or academic outreach is advantageous.
