Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Tourism & Event Management (e.g., Travel Operations, Destination Management, MICE, Event Planning, Sustainable Tourism, Principles of Management).
Design, update, and deliver lesson plans, case studies, simulations, and projects to ensure industry relevance.
Foster an interactive and participative classroom environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, presentations, and viva voce, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.

Curriculum & Academic Development
Contribute to curriculum design and revision aligned with industry trends and global best practices.
Incorporate industry case studies, guest lectures, and field visits into pedagogy.
Develop learning resources (notes, PPTs, e-content, and experiential activities) to support student learning.

Industry Engagement & Practical Exposure
Build and leverage industry networks to organize guest lectures, industrial visits, and workshops.
Guide students in securing internships, OJTs, and live projects with tourism boards, travel companies, and event management firms.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and integrate practical insights into classroom teaching.

Student Mentorship & Development
Mentor students in academic growth, research projects, and career planning.
Motivate and guide participation in conferences, competitions, seminars, and cultural activities.
Provide remedial support to struggling learners while challenging and guiding advanced learners.

Research & Academic Contribution
Conduct and publish research, case studies, or conference papers in the field of Tourism & Events.
Collaborate with faculty and industry professionals on research and academic projects.

Institutional Contribution & Administration
Participate actively in departmental initiatives, committees, and accreditation processes.
Support institutional events, student clubs, and outreach programs.
Contribute to institutional growth through promotional activities, admission counselling, and community engagement.

Continuous Professional Development
Continuously upgrade subject expertise through trainings, certifications, and workshops.

Desired Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree (Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management, or related discipline); Ph.D. preferred.
Prior teaching and/or industry experience in tourism, hospitality, or event management.
Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to integrate technology and experiential learning methods into teaching.
Industry linkages and research orientation will be an added advantage.
