Job Description

The Assistant Professor in Physical Education will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physical Education, Sports Sciences, and related areas.
Key Responsibilities

• Teach theory and practical courses in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, Health Education, Yoga, and related areas.
• Plan, organize, and supervise physical training, games, tournaments, and wellness programs for students.
• Mentor and guide students in sports, health, and research-related activities.
• Assist in developing curriculum, lesson plans, and modern teaching methodologies.
• Engage in research, publish academic work, and contribute to institutional knowledge building.
• Participate in intramural, inter-college, and inter-university competitions as coach/mentor.
• Promote inclusivity, fair play, and wellness culture among students.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of sports infrastructure and facilities.
• Carry out departmental and institutional duties as assigned (admissions, examinations, student support, etc.).
