Master's Degree in Sociology (MA Sociology) with minimum 55% marks
NET/SET in Sociology
Experience:
2-3 years with excellent academic record may apply.
Teaching and/or research experience at the university/college level will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Sociology and related disciplines.
Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and fieldwork.
Develop innovative pedagogical approaches and integrate ICT in teaching-learning.
Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, and departmental activities.
Conduct and publish original research in reputed journals and conferences.
Mentor students in career development, competitive exams, and higher studies.
Engage in extension activities, social research, and community outreach programs.
Contribute to institutional development, quality assurance, and accreditation processes (NAAC, IQAC, NBA, etc.).
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary issues.
Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.
Ability to handle field-based research and data analysis.
Academic and research orientation with teamwork spirit.
