Job Summary:

The Department of Physiology is seeking a dynamic and dedicated

Assistant Professor

to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, research, and academic development. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Physiology, with a passion for teaching and a commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching:

Deliver engaging and up-to-date lectures, practicals, and tutorials for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Science students. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum guidelines. Conduct internal assessments and contribute to question paper setting, invigilation, and evaluation. Guide and mentor undergraduate students in academic activities and projects.

Research:

Conduct original research in the field of Physiology. Publish papers in indexed, peer-reviewed national and international journals. Apply for research grants and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, where possible.

Academic Administration:

Participate in curriculum development and academic planning. Assist in departmental meetings, academic audits, and accreditations. Maintain proper records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress of students.

Professional Development:

Attend faculty development programs (FDPs), CMEs, workshops, and conferences. Stay updated with advancements in medical education and physiology research.

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications:

MBBS with MD (Physiology) or M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with Ph.D. (where applicable). Degree from an institution recognized by NMC/MCI (India) or relevant medical council (as per country).

Qualification - MBBS, MS/MD, M.Sc., PhD

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
