Job Description

An Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics teaches, researches, and mentors students in developing drug delivery systems, focusing on curriculum delivery, lab supervision, publishing findings, securing grants, and serving on university committees, requiring a PhD in Pharmacy or related field for academic excellence and professional growth. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Mentoring:

Deliver lectures, practicals, and labs for UG/PG students in Pharmaceutics; guide and supervise student research/theses.

Research:

Conduct independent research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and develop new knowledge in drug formulation/delivery.

Curriculum & Academics:

Develop course materials, design programs, participate in assessments, and stay current with field advancements.

Service & Collaboration:

Participate in departmental committees, engage with industry, secure research grants, and support the university.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

PhD in Pharmacy or closely related field (desirable/required).

Research:

Proven publication record and ability to conduct interdisciplinary research.

Teaching:

Excellent communication, instructional, and presentation skills for diverse learning environments.

Interpersonal:

Strong mentorship, leadership, teamwork, and student support abilities.
