Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Teaching:

Deliver lectures, develop course materials, and assess student learning.

Research:

Conduct independent research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and seek funding for research projects.

Clinical Practice:

May participate in clinical practice through patient care, medication management, and professional development.

Mentorship and Supervision:

Supervise graduate students, support undergraduate research, and mentor students in their professional development.

Service:

Contribute to the university or college by serving on committees, participating in outreach activities, and engaging in professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:

PharmD Degree:

A PharmD or equivalent doctoral degree in pharmacy or a related field is typically required.

Strong Academic Record:

A demonstrated history of academic excellence and strong research experience.

Effective Teaching Skills:

Ability to deliver engaging and informative lectures, develop effective teaching materials, and assess student learning.

Research Experience:

Experience in conducting research, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals, and securing funding for research projects.

Communication and Collaboration Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with students, colleagues
