We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Professor of Computer Science to teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, contribute to academic development, and support research and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach core and advanced Computer Science subjects as per university curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools
Guide and mentor students in academics, projects, and career development
Conduct internal assessments, examinations, and evaluation work
Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental meetings
Engage in research, publications, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs
Support institutional initiatives such as admissions, placements, and accreditation activities
Eligibility & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / IT or related field (NET/PhD preferred)
Strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to use modern teaching tools and technologies
Experience:
Teaching or relevant academic/industry experience will be an advantage
Skills Required:
Programming fundamentals, databases, operating systems, and emerging technologies
Student mentoring and academic coordination
Research orientation and continuous learning mindset
