Job Summary:

The Basic Sciences Department at Atria Institute of Technology seeks a dynamic and innovative Assistant Professor of Mathematics to contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will engage in teaching, research, and service to the department and university community.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in mathematics. Mentor and advise students on academic and research pursuits. Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies in the classroom.

Research:

Establish a robust research agenda in mathematics, contributing to the field and involving undergraduate and graduate students. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at academic conferences.

Service:

Participate in departmental and institutional committees. Engage in outreach activities to promote mathematics education and foster community relationships.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field. Msc in Mathematics Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success. Active research agenda with a record of publications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices. Ability to collaborate across disciplines within the basic sciences.
