We are seeking dynamic and qualified candidates for the position of
Assistant Professor in Management
to teach courses across undergraduate (BBA, BCA) and postgraduate (MBA, MCA) programs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in core management subjects, ability to teach interdisciplinary topics, and a passion for research and student development.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
Conduct lectures, tutorials, and workshops in subjects such as Principles of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Business Communication, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship.
For BCA and MCA students, deliver management-related courses such as IT Project Management, Business Analytics, MIS, and Technology Management.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments aligned with academic standards and industry relevance.
Incorporate case studies, simulations, and digital tools for effective learning.
Research & Professional Development
Engage in research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present papers at conferences.
Seek collaborative research opportunities and consultancy projects.
Student Guidance & Mentorship
Supervise student projects, internships, and dissertations.
Provide academic advising, career counseling, and skill development support.
Institutional Engagement
Participate in curriculum design, program reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
Organize guest lectures, seminars, industrial visits, and management fests.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree in Management (MBA or equivalent) with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
Ph.D. in Management (preferred) as per UGC norms.
For teaching MCA/BCA students, additional exposure to IT/Business Analytics/Technology Management will be an advantage.
Eligibility Criteria:
NET/SLET/SET qualification as per UGC norms (exemption for Ph.D. holders as per guidelines).
Experience:
Teaching experience at the undergraduate/postgraduate level preferred.
Industry experience in management, IT, or business operations will be considered an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong subject expertise and interdisciplinary teaching capability.
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Ability to integrate industry trends into academic delivery.
