The Assistant Professor - Management will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Management, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development. The role requires strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in Management subjects such as Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, or General Management.
Design and develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with the curriculum.
Conduct internal assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain academic records.
Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and research work.
Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in reputed journals, and contribute to conferences/seminars.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and institutional initiatives.
Support accreditation, quality assurance, and other academic compliance processes.
Mentor students in career planning, skill development, and industry readiness.
Coordinate with industry professionals for guest lectures, workshops, and internships.
Contribute to community outreach, extension activities, and university events.
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
Master's Degree in Management (MBA / PGDM or equivalent) with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
Desirable:
Ph.D. in Management or registered for Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
Experience:
As per UGC/AICTE norms (fresh candidates with strong academic background may also apply).
