Job Description

Teaching and instruction:

Teach and develop lesson plans for undergraduate courses in printing technology, including topics such as offset, flexography, screen printing, digital printing, and packaging. Conduct practical sessions and workshops in printing labs. Administer tests and evaluate student progress, providing feedback to department heads.

Research and publication:

Conduct high-quality research in relevant areas of printing technology. Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences. Seek grants and external funding to support research projects.

Mentorship and student support:

Advise and mentor students on their academic and career development. Provide guidance on course selection and program requirements.

Curriculum and administration:

Develop and update course materials and curricula to ensure they are current and industry-relevant. Assist with departmental duties, including administrative tasks, meetings, and committee work.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments on research and teaching initiatives. Represent the university at conferences and events.
Required qualifications

Education:

A Master's degree (M.Tech) or Ph.D. in Printing Technology or a related field is typically required.

Experience:

Some roles may prefer candidates with industry experience or a minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience.

Skills:

Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent teaching and presentation skills. Proficiency in relevant software and technologies. Commitment to student success and excellence in teaching
