The Department of Humanities & Social Sciences at Geeta University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the

Doctoral level

. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service in the field of Political Science, with a specialization in one or more of the following areas: Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Policy, Political Theory, Governance, or Indian Political System.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Duties:

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Political Science. Design and update curriculum in line with current academic and industry trends. Guide and supervise doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate research projects. Conduct seminars, workshops, and tutorials to enhance student learning. Maintain academic rigor and foster a research-oriented environment.

Research:

Conduct independent and collaborative research in relevant areas of Political Science. Publish regularly in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Apply for and manage funded research projects and grants. Present research findings at conferences, symposia, and academic forums.

Service & Administration:

Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional development activities. Mentor students and junior faculty members. Contribute to community outreach and interdisciplinary programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

Ph.D. in Political Science or closely related field from a recognized institution with or without prior teaching experience.

Demonstrated research record with publications in reputed journals.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong command of Political Science theories, methodologies, and analytical tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Commitment to teaching excellence and student success. Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
