Job Description

The Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, conducting research, guiding student projects, and contributing to the academic and administrative development of the department.

Teach core subjects of Mechanical Engineering such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Manufacturing processes, Heat Transfer etc. Prepare lesson plans, classroom presentations, assignments, and assessments. Guide B. Tech student projects, internships, and seminar work. Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences. Assist in curriculum development and improvement of teaching-learning processes. Mentor and support students in academic performance and career planning. Participate in departmental activities like workshops, seminars, conferences, accreditation work(NBA/NAAC), and labs management. Maintain discipline , integrity, and a positive learning environment. B.E/ B. Tech and M.E/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with first class.

Ph.D. is mandatory.

Good communication skills and teaching aptitude. Subject expertise with strong conceptual clarity. Ability to use smart-class/ digital teaching tools. Research and publication ability. Teamwork and student handling skills.
