Core Responsibilities

Teaching and curriculum:

Develop, update, and deliver courses in areas like finance, marketing, and operations; create syllabi, lectures, and assignments; and employ varied teaching methods to engage students.

Student evaluation and support:

Grade assignments and exams, provide detailed feedback, and maintain regular office hours for student consultation. They also advise students on course selection and offer academic and career guidance.

Research and publication:

Conduct original research, publish scholarly papers in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at academic conferences. This work helps them stay current and contribute to the advancement of their field.
Administrative and Professional Duties

Mentorship:

Supervise and mentor students, particularly those in graduate programs, guiding their research and development.

Committee and departmental work:

Participate in faculty meetings, serve on various committees, and contribute to departmental planning and administration.

Industry engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to facilitate student internships, placements, and industry-relevant projects. They may also conduct industry research or consulting.

Professional development:

Stay current with industry and academic trends by attending seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Administrative tasks:

Assist with administrative duties, assist in faculty recruitment, and help with tasks like scheduling and budget management.
