Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified faculty member to join our Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate (BBA, B.Com) and postgraduate (MBA) students in subjects such as:

Production and Operations Management Supply Chain Management Research Methodology Operations Research Microsoft Excel & Advanced Excel (Data Analytics Applications) Finance like Risk Management, Financial Derivatives,
The faculty member will also contribute to academic advising, research, curriculum development, and departmental administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching:

Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions for the mentioned subjects. Design and develop curriculum, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Use innovative teaching methods including case studies. Mentor students in academic projects and internships.

Research & Publications:

Undertake high-quality research and publish in reputed journals (Scopus / UGC-CARE / ABDC listed). Guide postgraduate research projects and dissertations.

Institutional Contribution:

Participate in departmental meetings, academic events, seminars, and faculty development programs. Assist in NAAC/NBA/UGC documentation and academic audits. Contribute to industry interaction and placement efforts.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Management (Specialisation in Finance)/Business Analytics with B,Tech in Operations / Industrial Engineering etc. NET/SET qualification preferred (as per UGC norms). Proficiency in MS Excel and Advanced Excel (with knowledge of functions, pivot tables, dashboards, and analytics tools like Solver, Power Query, etc.)

Desirable Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Management/Operations/Supply Chain/Related Areas (awarded or submitted). Certifications in Data Analytics, Excel, Supply Chain (e.g., Six Sigma, APICS, etc.) Industry experience in operations/supply chain will be an added advantage.

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience for Assistant Professor. For Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years including research and academic administration experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of operational and analytical decision-making. Ability to integrate real-world examples and industry trends into teaching. Proficiency in online teaching platforms (Moodle, MS Teams, Google Classroom, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Research aptitude and commitment to continuous learning.

Remuneration:

As per University norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
