Assistant Professor in Environmental Science

to join our faculty and contribute to the academic and research development in the field of environmental studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Environmental Science. Develop and update curriculum, course materials, and laboratory exercises in alignment with academic and industry standards. Supervise student research projects and dissertations. Conduct independent and collaborative research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals. Participate in departmental meetings, student mentoring, and academic planning activities. Engage in community outreach and environmental awareness programs. Contribute to administrative and accreditation processes as required by the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a closely related field UGC NET qualified in Environmental Science or equivalent discipline.

Experience:

Minimum

2 years of teaching and/or research experience

in a recognized academic/research institution.

Desirable Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in interdisciplinary environmental research. Knowledge of environmental legislation, sustainable development, and climate change. Proficiency in research tools and statistical analysis software. Ability to mentor and inspire students.

Salary:

As per university norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
